Editing Office 365 documents (Word, PowerPoint or Excel) can either be done i the online version with limited functionality or in the desktop version of the application. This works smoothly in Windows, but on Macs I get a logon screen to Office 365.

It gives me the option to logon with different accounts and when I select one of the accounts the popup window freezes and I am stuck. The options I am left with is online editing or download, edit and upload again. The latter leaves us with no collaboration benefits and version issues.
I am on Yosemite 10.10.5, Office 2011 version 14.5.4 and have SharePoint Browser Plug-in version 14.5.4 installed.
The problem seems to be independent on browser. It has been tested on Safari (Versjon 8.0.8 (10600.8.9)), Chrome (Versjon 44.0.2403.157 (64-bit)) and Firefox (39.0.3).
